The event, &#8220;Malaysia-Germany: Bridging Research &amp; Expert Exchange,&#8221; was held in conjunction with R!CH 2025 (Research, Innovation &amp; Commercialization Highlights) to celebrate and expand upon decades of academic synergy. The cornerstone of the event was the showcase of the deep-rooted partnership between UKM and the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE). For over 20 years, this collaboration has served as a vital bridge, enabling students and researchers to cross-pollinate ideas between the Malaysian and German engineering landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>The Product Directory Launch<\/strong>: A new roadmap for industries to discover market-ready technology developed right here at UKM<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>Licensing Success:<\/strong> The ceremony featured the presentation of licensing checks to researchers whose inventions have officially transitioned from the lab to the commercial sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>DAAD Funding:<\/strong> For students and young researchers, the sessions on Research Funding and Grant Opportunities in Germany were a goldmine of information for international career advancement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"has-large-font-size\"><strong>German Day:<\/strong> A dedicated exhibition and seminar series focusing UKM-UDE Dual Degree Program, International Studies in Engineering (ISE) by UDE and UDE FIT-Program, designed to support international students in their academic journey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">The event concluded as a resounding success, proving that when we bridge borders, we accelerate progress<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Supported by funding from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the DAAD has launched the FIT Program (part of the Campus Initiative for International Talents).
