Mercator Science & Education Sdn Bhd (MSE), also known as the Mercator Office, is the representative office of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), Germany. Through Mercator Offices, UDE provides services for students, researchers and guest professors under a collaboration program between universities and partner institutions.

The University of Duisburg-Essen collaborates with Southeast Asia’s elite universities, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2000 and Universitas Indonesia (UI) in 2003, for the Dual Degree Engineering Degrees and Exchange Program.

The collaboration with China in the Double Degree Programme between the Faculty of Engineering, University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) and Zhengzhou University (ZZU) started in 2016.
