Mercator Office Indonesia, as the representative office of University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) in Indonesia, proudly participated in the FTUI Information Session on Study Abroad Opportunities organized by the International Partnership and Education Unit of the Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia (FTUI) on 7 February. The event was held for FTUI students interested in exploring international academic opportunities, including double degree, student exchange, and full-degree study abroad programs. Mercator Office was represented by Ms. Okti Halimurti and Ms. Dita Adithia, who introduced UDE and shared information about academic opportunities for engineering students in Germany.

During the session, Mercator Office provided insights on available study pathways, academic and language requirements, application timelines, living costs, scholarships, as well as practical preparations such as visa and accommodation. The enthusiastic participation from students and parents was reflected in the interactive Q&A and consultation sessions at the UDE booth. This event further strengthened Mercator Office’s commitment to supporting Indonesian students in pursuing international education opportunities at UDE.
