MINT Course
Mercator Science & Education offers a preparation course called MINT.
MINT (Mathematics, Informatics. Natural Sciences, Technology) is an intensive course to prepare students to deepen the essential level of engineering subjects and natural sciences. This course is modularized to a high extent and consists of lectures, tutorials, and homework in different disciplines which consists of three sections: Mathematics, Physics, and Combination of Natural Sciences and Technology.
The duration of this course is 3 weeks involving 45 lectures and 45 tutorial units. The MINT course consists of three sections:
a) Mathematics,
b) Physics and
c) Combination of Natural Sciences and Technology.
The MINT course is taught in English. Exam is included atthe end of the course.

ICC (InterCultural Communication Competence)
This course helps the student to understand the divergence in order to be able to accommodate to a new environment without experiencing a culture shock, which could lead to a decreasing study performance. Therefore, a special course of 20 hours in Intercultural Communication is offered by the Mercator Office to give insights to the students about cultural differences between Asian and Western countries, whilst focusing on German culture. With this combination, students are well prepared to enter the German education system and cultural environment. Through this project, the following categories of international students will benefit from the FREE ONLINE courses offered:
- Use-ISE Bachelor Students
- UI-UDE Dual Degree & Exchange Students
- UKM-UDE Dual Degree Students
